Care and cleaning for leather is actually really easy. Remember, your new item has been laser-etched, so the design won’t come off.
Please be sure to use a good leather cleaner/conditioner every few months on your mat. We use and recommend Fiebing’s 4-Way Care (found at Tandy Leather or on Amazon), but any good quality leather cleaner/conditioner is fine.
Please do not use suede cleaner (it stains) or anything designed for leather baseball gloves (it breaks down the fibers).
A good rule of thumb is that if you feel like your skin needs lotion, your new bag may need a little conditioner! This means you may condition a bit more frequently in a drier climate.
