Meet the Gobbos! We are a veteran (Isaac) and female (Becks) owned small business located in beautiful East Tennessee.
Isaac The Warboss
Isaac has been a Warhammer player for at least a few decades now, currently running a 40K Ork army with a custom Stompa made with vintage Star Wars bitz. He is the lead laser-wrangler and hammer-whacker, and teaches classes at Tandy Leather on safe laser burning (it’s more complicated than you might think!). You will see Isaac at shows assembling custom orders with his big hammer, or fixing some random part of Becks’ cosplay that she managed to snag.
In his spare time, Isaac is restoring a decommissioned military Humvee to become an Ork Trukk (WAAAAAUUUGH!). He is a MTG Commander player, with wicked little decks (definitely the threat at the table). He also enjoys Warhammer-related video games, and is our D&D group’s forever DM.
Becks The Commissar
Becks is a bit newer to the Warhammer scene as a Sisters of Battle player, but began playing MTG back in the dark ages of the late 90s. She is the resident hand painted earring-maker, but also loves to bonk rivets with a hammer after a long day. You will probably see Becks at various conventions and shows in cosplay – usually as MTG’s Nahiri, Warhammer 40K Commissar, Wonder Woman, or Ghostbuster.
In her spare time, Becks loves to proliferate infect counters with a seriously janky Ezuri deck, read sci-fi & snarky urban fantast (Jim Butcher ftw), and torture her favorite DM (Isaac) with shenanigans. Her goal in life is to find a way to turn her Yuan-ti Pureblood Spore Druid into a Sharknado, by shifting into a shark, creating a spore shark, and then having someone else cast “Control Winds”. Someday….
